Adam Lambert, American Idol’s pretty boy sensation was able to get Simon Cowell on his feet during a standing ovation after the mid 20’s emo looking kid did an impressive take on MAD WORLD by Tears For Fears.  His voice has been compared to Axel Rose, Patti Labelle, Freddy Mercury and Michael Jackson.

His ability to emote in his singing and go from operatics to rock and roll and reach incredible ranges is making music industry heads turn. It is very likely Adam Lambert will win Season 8 of American Idol and start his singing career shortly after.  We are rarely interested in the American Idol contestants here a Bandmark, as many end up with a one hit wonder or a mediocre 2 year pop ride but we think Adam is destined to make it big. Go Adam Lambert!
