• A DEAD HUB This is a very popular online music network and blog that covers musical artists from all genres and walks of life (estimated 50,000 visitors/month). They approached BandMark with a basic cross-marketing proposal. BandMark sends DEAD HUB merchandise and music, and in return they will provide exposure for BandMark’s clients through their well-written and diverse editorials. BandMark currently has a monthly agreement with DEAD HUB that 1 client per month will be covered.
• BASE BIN A local music production and rehearsal space for many established local and international musicians. Owned and operated by Albert Chambers, BASE BIN’s mission is to pay close attention to the wants and needs of its clients. Base Bin staff is on hand to respond to any particular equipment requests and to provide set-ups that achieve their band’s desired sound production.
• Music SUBMIT Music SUBMIT submits your music to genre-specific radio stations, online music magazines, online music directories, blogs, podcasts, indie record labels, and other electronic music media via a rich community of music industry resources. WE use Music Submit for all our EPK viral and they’ve been great with our bands.
• RESONNANCE RESONANCE is a year long photo-documentary about live music in Montreal, both resident and transient, from May 2009 thru to May 2010. This not for profit documentary is the personal work of photographer Allen McEachern and is intended to showcase the diversity of live music available in Montreal.
• TOPSPIN MEDIA This company is a professional-grade software provider for artists and their managers. Their primary product/service offering, called TOPSPIN, is one of the most complete technology platforms for creating a retail channel and effectively promoting music and connecting directly with fans. TOPSPIN accepts a small handful of new marketing fulfillment partners and BandMark was one of the lucky ones this year!
