Despite being confined to the Century Regional Detention Facility in Lynwood, California, Lindsay Lohan continues her career of crime. Our music industry gossip mill sources tell us that on Sunday morning, Lohan assaulted a fellow inmate in a dispute. Eyewitnesses say that Lohan and the unnamed victim were seen arguing over the possession of a bottle of Evian in the prison’s exercise yard shortly before Lohan attacked the other with a sharpened toothbrush. The victim is currently in critical condition at Lynwood’s St. Francis Medical Center.

“We all scoffed when we heard Lindsay was coming in, but she’s more hardcore than we thought she’d be,” said an inmate witness who declined to be named. “I used to run drugs through Mexico and I’ve seen a few things, but nothing like her. She looks like something that fell off the back of a Harley doing a deuce down Route 66, and that voice… dear god, that voice. How old is she, anyway?”

Luckily for Lohan, her team of lawyers, led by Frederick Weinberg, is working around the clock to have Lohan released early. “We’re aiming for at least a sanitarium transfer until we can appeal the charges formally,” Weinberg said in a statement today. “But Ms. Lohan has to be released soon… before anyone else gets hurt.”

Today’s conflict marks the third such altercation since Lohan’s prison stint began on July 20th, following a Friday incident in which she viciously attacked a warden during a cell transfer. Sources say that attack was in response to off-hand criticism of Lohan’s most recent album, 2005′s “A Little More Personal (Raw)”, which was lambasted both critically and commercially. “I don’t think that guy’s ever going to walk again,” a witness said. “She’s raw, all right. She’s a mean girl.”

ORANGE ORANGE LIVE SINGING “ET JE PLEURE”

At first, when I first saw them perform at the Excentris during the M for Montreal Media conference, I was like O.K they look sort of like candy ravers, they like the color orange and they sing through old school cord phones – silly or superb? Well after hearing the full song, I must say SUPERB. This duo produces some neat beat boxing, re-mixes and pretty cool Pop/Electro/Melodramatic tunes. We are hopefully going to get the chance to interview them at the M!

Saturday night I hit up the Telus theatre for “Kill Halloween” and The Bloody Beetroots. Saintwoods.com made sure the place was packed and everyone was having a sick time. I was lucky enuff to get the backstage hookup and hang with the guys b4 their set. These guys are seriously the most polite dudes ever, proper little italian boys. Security was crazy tight and cameras were NOT allowed on stage during their performance. I did manage to crawl on stage and grab a few shots. This was the best one. Epic!! Chances are you have seen his art b4, If NOT you must be living under a rock. Shantz was the lead designer for Drop Dead and his T-shirts are everywhere. He is presently blowing major art out of his Montreal home in the Mile End and making big moves. I have been spending a lot of time with Shantz lately. Between hangouts, going to shows and working on a small project or 2 together, most of my time has been devoted to work and him. I had a chance to step into the lair of the Devil himself and came out alive and with a few pix hahah. Shantz has so much 80’s goodies its awesome, and the majority of it is all mint. His house was insanity, amazing art, great toys and enuff upside down crosses to burn every church in North America. Def a cool place…..for a visit. BandMark is lucky to be having him come paint our logo ‘Shantz style’ on our Old Montreal loft’s dope white brick wall- which you will see in a new post later.

This has nothing to do with Jessica Alba. The video below is the last 10 minutes of the lost Fantastic Four “film” that was never released…and for good fucking reason. Yes it’s old (1994), but keep in mind that’s still 3 years after Terminator 2 came out and one year after Jurassic Park, for chrissakes, so there’s absolutely no excuse for the piss poor special effects (and acting) in this crappy flick. This looks like it was made in the parking lot of a Best Western with a camcorder and closet full of spandex. And what exactly is up with Doctor Doom’s hand gestures? What is he?, a hand model? My goodness, thank god Marvel got its shit together and started putting stuff out like X-Men. Really, this one’s strictly for the comic nerds. It’s is no secret that Jonny Craig has had some rough times. He has had bad breakups with a lot of the bands he has been in over the years, problems with drug addiction and women. I met him through common friends, and had a chance to hangout while he was in Montreal. No great experience to brag about. One thing that cannot be denied is this guy’s voice. And now with the first single off his solo release, you can see he has true talent. I am blown away by this song an it fits so right with me at this time. Take a listen, Im really diggin it.

Last week I had the chance to spend the day with my boy Oli Sykes from Bring me The Horizon. Oli was in town for his show at Metropolis as well as to use some of our mutual friends in his photo shoot for his clothing line Drop Dead. You`re getting a sneak peak at just a few items, that I was allowed to show you. Oli has really turned this small clothing line into a full blown business that made over a million dollars in sales last year an now employs his family. After the shoot we headed to the venue and hung out until it was time to hit the stage. Another week here at BandMark and we are working hard to make big things happen. We spent the day on Thursday with Bring Me The Horizon’s Frontman Oli Sykes for his clothing line photo-shoot, and band’s performance at Metropolis. We also kicked it with MuchMusic VJ 2.0 contestant Marc Andrew Smith. You will have to wait until next week though to see all of that. We also welcomed our friends at SkullCandy, Wemoto and PKG to the BandMark family. Last week I hit up Sub V in N.D.G. for the “Expo Des EXPOS”. Designed by Denis Raby of Color Yeah, the exhibit was a showing of memorable Montreal Expos players from the 60s, 70s, 80s & 90s. A year in the making, this project is quite impressive. Hand painted on wood cutouts of the original players baseball cards.
