One thing you need to know about us at BandMark: We have a love/hate relationship with clowns. We find them horribly creepy yet somehow fascinating. Which is why if you keep visiting our site, you’ll find clowns cropping up regularly.
Last night Lee and I watched one of the two quintessential creepy clown movies: “Killer Klowns from Outer Space” (the other being Stephen King’s “It” natch!). Its title track “Killer Klowns (From Outer Space)” by The Dickies, is a classic.
If you’re jonesing to see grotesque mutant clowns terrorizing a small town with their cotton candy rayguns, popcorn-shooting AK-47s, and their multi-coloured circus tent spaceship, then this is the film for you! Lee suggests you don’t drop any psychedellics as this movie is as colorful and WTF as you are going to be able to handle straight!
You can even play pick your favourite clown. Mine was the small fellow with the big green hair who had his bike smashed by some soon-to-be-dead bikers, and Lee’s was the big Jabba the Hut tranny clown with red hair, lipstick and a sparkly baby blue lingerie looking top! There’s a whole spaceship to choose from, so I’m sure you’ll find a clown to your taste. If you know the movie, drop us a comment and tell us who is your fave Killer Klown!
